Left the free camp and headed to Townsville. Couldn't get in to a couple of spots because it is school holidays and the super 8 cars are here. We tried to take the caravan through the city but that was too stressful so headed back to caravan park.
Drove up to the lookout. It was very steep but wonderful views.

Went and looked at the STrand on the foreshore. Just wonderful. Beautiful gardens and paths and playgrounds for the kids. Just what Perth needs.

Had a coffee on the strand and then went back to the van.
On the way home couldn't work out why the seats on stands were facing the road. Then realized we were in the home straight of the v8 supercars course. Barry actually accelerated thinking he was in the race.!!!! Would be wonderful to see.
