Last day in Karumba.

Yesterday went down to the wharf in Karumba and sat on the jetty and had calamari and chips. So pleasant. Saw all the tinnies coming home from their fishing trip. Bought a kilo of prawns for tea. Most people from the caravan park went up for a roast dinner at the park.
Saw some brolgas coming home from the wharf.
This morning woke and got ready for some fishing. It was so windy and only half the boats out. There were about 10 people fishing off the beach. I was so scared that a croc was going to come up to the waters edge. No one seems to be that worried. I even fell over once throwing out the line because I was so scared to get near the water.

Barry was so excited that when he finally caught a fish. It was only a brim but a good size. Tried for a couple of hours to get another one but no good. Only fish for entre tonight.
Barry took his one fish back to clean on the fishing tables. The other fisherman never smiled once as they cleaned all their fish.
