Karumba

Went for a walk to see where they are fishing. There were about 70 cars with boat trailors on the back parked in the parking area.
The photo only shows half of the cars. It was very windy but they apparently go up the river out of the breeze. Some were fishing from the shore. they dont seem to worry about the crocs. There is a channel that goes really close.
Barry has bought some prawns to have a go tomorrow morning when the tide is in. In the afternoon it goes out a long way. If not successful we will just eat the prawns. We are in a shady spot so enjoying our stay at Karumba. The locals are very friendly. They come up every year. At night you cant leave anything out as the wallabies eat it.
